David E. Martin has recently written an account of his spiritual journey in the Pacific. I find it a fascinating read and hope you enjoy it. Reproduced with permission.

Here is my newest writing out on the economy. Analysis by Dr. David Martin. Read it here.

If you live in the DC area, you’ve been rained on a lot lately. Capitalize on this resource and be thankful, lots of other people are in droughts right now. A way to save a little money over the long run is to buy a rain barrel now. This will decrease your water bill over time for your lawn/garden/car washing, etc., but will also save water which you might not have if it gets really hot this summer and the rains go away. Heck, you might even need it to drink (so keep it clean and dirt/bacteria free)! Are you from Atlanta? Remember last summer? Plan ahead, save money, stay resilient. The first link explains how to build one for yourself. The next links are some pathways to buy pre-made ones online. I’m not making any brand recommendations here - it’s just a barrel.
